My best friend is getting married this year and all manner of activities are planned, including a bridal shower of course. I am fortunate enough to be in charge of the invitations and the general decorations. The theme is an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party. I am planning of using my new Gocco to print the invites and have been working on the design for the past week and a half. It’s not quite done but I thought I’d put it up and see what comments came back. I

Hooray. My gocco printer arrived last week from the wonderful people at Northwood Studios. I spoke to Judy who was very kind and helpful. I have been pining away for one for months now but finally decided to buy it to make some things for my best friend’s wedding.
I have yet to use it though. It’s been so hectic last week and I feel kinda spent this week. I have finished the preliminary sketches for a print I’m planning to make for the favors at the bridal shower. Hopefully I can scan it in soon and photoshop the text in and make a master screen by the end of the week. Will post results when I do. Wish me luck.
We went to CT this weekend for Mother’s Day and walked in the lovely woods with our dog Ru. Since we live in an apt. in Brooklyn, it’s such a rare treat to be able to walk around with Ru unleashed. Look how happy he is! Here he is relaxing in a small field of flowers. He’s such a muppet.
