A very dear and old friend is getting married…so we showered her with love and best wishes last sunday. I have known T since we were in the 6th grade. She is one of the most genuine, down to earth and accomplished women I know. So we really wanted something personal, beautiful and memorable for her shower.
The bridal brunch shower was held at ICI in Brooklyn. ICI is a wonderful French bistro on Dekalb Ave. We rented their private room upstairs which is decked out all in white. The theme was Red (with french influences) since it’s the brides favorite color and the groom proposed in Paris. I thought that red in the very white space would be striking and elegant.
I’m really happy how well it all turned out though i wish I took more photos!
I bought all the flowers in the flower district and I made the centerpieces the day before. I used rose petals for a seating card. I wrote the names directly onto the petals using a gold gel pen. T is pressing the petals for a keepsake.
Everyone invited was asked to wear white except for the bride to be. Everyone looked wonderful!
