Beautiful illustration by Andrea Offermann. Sadly by the time I saw this at tinyshowcase.com, it was already sold out. I also really liked the book this illustration was based on, Life of Pi by Yann Martel. Would have looked great with the other illustration I have of hers called “1711″ (the narwhale). sigh….

I am a little shy with putting up pictures of our apt. It is a chaos of toys, our art, other people art and supplies. But this week I just bought the Re-Ment kitchen table that I have been looking for from Toy Tokyo. I’ve been anticipating it since I saw it months ago at Mitsuwa’s. Now the kitchen in my kitchen is complete! Well it will never really becomplete because I will haveto keep buying food toys that Re-Ment puts out because they are just so good.
Few more pics of Star Trek Action Figures having breakfast in our kitchen. Why Star Trek? partly because it is very hard to find action figures that are to scale with the kitchen but mostly because we just darn love them!
Picard and Riker can be seen here riding on a Tricyle that we bought in Bangkok a year ago. They enjoy their outings to the grocery store and Warf gets all zen while tending the garden.

I’ve loved swings ever since I was a little girl. When I was 6, when we were still in the Philippines, a friend of my dad’s gave us a swing set and I used to play on it almost everyday. We only lived there for 2 years and after that I never had swing again but to this day, if I come across a swing, I would have to stop and play a little.
Maybe someday if my house is big enough I can have one of these swing lamps by BCXSY.

I tend to like covers of songs. Like the Seu Jorge’s cover of David Bowie’s Rebel Rebel. I like hearing the different ways people interpret the same song. In a way technology now lets us make characters and avatars that are covers of ourselves. If you’ve played with a Wii or Soul Caliber III then you know how fun it is to make yourself, your friends and family into a character. With the Simpsons movie coming out they have a new website that let’s you create Simpson’s style Avatars, and this is us! So cute!
Besides the Vans, Kwik-E-Marts, and nameless other promotional stuff, there will also be a 10″ Custom Bart Simpson Qees show at the Showroom NYC on September 14 which we will be participating in. There was one at the Taipei Toy Festival and it will also be at SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) July 25-29. But come September we will have our custom Simpsons Qee in NY under our other company name of Pop Prolific and after NY the world. And for those of you not really into the toy scene, you might appreciate this high fashion Simpsons more.
